The World Wide Celestial Youth Conference has lasted for 17 good years and counting, despite the leadership crisis in the church. The secret of the success behind this 4 days annual youth conference need to be assessed and promoted more widely among the Church in general.


As we look forward to this year's conference, with the theme 'Understanding Celestial Church,' I would like to state 5 good reasons why every celestial youth should attend this year's conference.

1. Understand More About The Celestial Church

The youth conference is coming at a time the church is in a trying moment and quite a number of people are beginning to seek refuge in other christian denominations. The conference would seek to reassure young Celestials on the need to affirm their mind and thoughts toward basic doctrine of the church.

2. Prayer And Bible Study

1 Chronicles 16:11 says Look to the LORD and his strength: seek his face always. Youths at this event would be aided to pray and study the Bible, in order to strengthen them spiritual and become good Celestial members.

There is no unit of the church in general that is as unified and purposeful than the youth organisation, despite its membership cutting across various parishes whom are loyal to various pastors. Therefore, it's important for Celestial youths to attend this conference and help unite the church through this noble conference.

4. Networking And Meeting New People

The conference has become an event where youths from the every nook and cranny come to worship God in love. In the history of the conference, we have witnessed youths from far away Sokoto, Kaduna, Rivers and even Benin Republic and many more coming together as one united family. This will provide attendees of the National Conference the opportunity to meet Celestials from other states, tribes and culture, share ideas together and build a network of tomorrow's leaders.


5. Empowerment Seminar

At the conference, there are going to be seminars and lectures, which are tailored toward assisting young Celestials to become financially and economically dependable. Lectures that would prompt Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (SMEs) would be provided in order to reduce the unemployment rate in the church and the nation at large.

The conference will begin from Thursday 27th to Sunday 30th, August 2015, at the Oshoffa Miracle Fortress, Abule Oke, Ifo-Otta, Ogun State, South West, Nigeria.
