The tussle for the pastoral seat in the Church is an embarrassment to members and many are very worried, while a sizable number are beginning to 'decamp' to other denominations.

As expected, many are blaming those leaving to well organised churches, as not been faithful enough to stand by the Church when it's in crisis. Some cast malediction on them, calling them traitors. Is it really fair to blame those leaving the church due to the embarrassing crisis that has been lingering for so long, without laying blame on those directly responsible for the crisis?

In my opinion, every Celestial Church member is responsible for the leadership tussle happening in the church. You might not like it, but it's the bitter truth.

Permit me to ask: Why do we have many individuals seeking to become the occupier of the pastoral seat?

The answer we all know, but shy away from speaking the truth. However, should in case we don't know, I would tell spill it.

The simple truth is that these individuals are after wealth and positions.

Thus the solution to the leadership tussle is for every parish to stop paying the mandatory dues (money) to this individuals/pastors for a particular period of time. Rather, parishes should use the dues (money) to start developmental projects in their parishes.

Most parishes are less developed with poor looking buildings and members that need help such as payment of school fees, capital to start businesses, money to pay hospital bills etc. But we would be quick to send money to the various 'centres' who have Pastors/Individuals, that are just after having their own share of the cake.

Do I hear you say God and Papa Oshoffa will be angry with the Parishes if they all stop paying these dues?

I'm very sure that THEY WOULD BE ANGRY WITH US ALL, FOR FUNDING THESE INDIVIDUALS WITH MONEY TO RUN THE CHURCH INTO CRISIS.

IN CASE YOU DON'T KNOW, WE ARE ALL CONSPIRING WITH THESE INDIVIDUALS/PASTORS IN PROMOTING FURTHER CRISIS IN THE CHURCH BY PAYING THE MONTHLY DUES TO THEM.
