Anointment, New Moon Service Not Included In The Church Holy Rites And Sacraments

The draft constitution of the Church being prepared by unification committee, has identified 7 Holy Rites and Sacraments which are of utmost importance to the Church and members. Surprising, anointment and the new moon service were not included.

Members shall avail themselves of the opportunity to partake in these Rites or Sacraments:-

(a) BAPTISM

(b) HOLY COMMUNION

(c) ANNUAL WASHING OF FEET

(d) ANNUAL EASTER CONGREGATION

(e) ANNUAL CHRISTMAS CONVOCATION AT IMEKO

(f) ANNUAL HARVEST THANKSGIVING SERVICE

(g) HOLY MARY’S DAY

The Unification Committee was set up on 20th of July, 2010 by seven eminent elders of the church namely: Reverend P.S. Maforikan, Reverend S.E. Orovboni, Reverend E.F. Oshoffa, Superior Evangelist S.O. Banjo, Most Superior Evangelist T.E. Oshin, Superior Evangelist E.N Zanu and Most Superior Evangelist M.O. Are.
